On the afternoon of May 26, at the Provincial Labor Culture House, the Thai Binh Provincial Labor Federation held a conference to disseminate, propagate and implement Resolution No. 06/NQ-TU dated April 10, 2023 of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Executive Committee on building a team of workers and laborers in Thai Binh province to meet development requirements in the new situation (period 2023 – 2030, vision to 2045).
Attending the conference were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda Department, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Department and leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation, leaders of specialized trade unions of sectors, districts, cities and 240 Chairmen of Grassroots Trade Unions of companies, enterprises and factories with a large number of union members and workers in Thai Binh province.
Thai Binh takes the lead in building resolutions related to workers.
At the conference, comrade Bui Xuan Vinh – Chairman of the Thai Binh Provincial Labor Federation said: Resolution No. 06/NQ-TU dated April 10, 2023 of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee on building a team of workers and laborers in Thai Binh province to meet development requirements in the new situation (period 2023 – 2030, vision to 2045) is the 4th resolution of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee, term 2020 – 2025 after the resolutions on new rural construction in the new period, digital transformation and construction and development of Thai Binh city.
“This shows the attention and close attention of the Party Executive Committee, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee – People’s Council – People’s Committee for the labor force of the province; at the same time, it demonstrates the importance, great role, strategic position, and decisive significance of the working class for the strong and successful development of Thai Binh province in the current new period. Thai Binh is also one of the leading provinces and cities in the country, doing it the earliest in the country when building a separate, specialized resolution to build a team of highly qualified and skilled laborers to meet the development needs in the new situation”, said Mr. Bui Xuan Vinh – Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation.
The Resolution aims to build a modern, strong and growing workforce in Thai Binh in both quantity and quality, with political will, civic awareness, educational level, expertise, professional skills, industrial style, labor discipline, capable of accessing and mastering advanced and modern science and technology, meeting the requirements of socio-economic development, industrialization and modernization of the province. Improve material and spiritual life, ensure that workers enjoy the results commensurate with their contributions to socio-economic development.
In particular, the goal by 2025: Every year, 75% or more of workers will be informed and disseminated about the Party’s policies and guidelines, and the State’s policies and laws related to workers.
Strive for over 50% of employees to have vocational certificates; annually 70% or more of employees will participate in training to improve their qualifications and skills.
Workers’ income increased at least 1.4 times compared to present. 10 new Party grassroots organizations were established in enterprises; each year, about 230 new Party members who are outstanding workers were admitted…
By 2030: Strive for over 65% of employees to have vocational certificates; annually, 80% or more of employees will participate in training to improve their qualifications and vocational skills.
Workers’ income increased about 2.0 times compared to present. Established 25 new grassroots party organizations in enterprises; introduced and admitted about 250 new party members each year who are outstanding workers…
By 2045, the workforce will account for the majority of the province’s labor force, with high professional qualifications and skills; high income, rich spiritual life; and play an important role in socio-economic growth and development.
After the conference, the Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor requested that cadres and delegates attending the workshop study and disseminate the content and spirit of the resolution to union members and workers at their units and organizations for implementation.
